About
My name is Katie, and I am the owner and photographer behind Mud Media.
I grew up on a cropping farm in southern NSW, and over the years I’ve worked on sheep, cattle and cropping properties across NSW, QLD, VIC and the NT. During those years, I always loved picking up my camera and capturing moments on the job to share with friends and family.
One day, my dad said I should combine my passion for agriculture and photography and turn it into a career. For a man who didn’t have a touch screen phone (long live the Nokia brick) or Facebook, he was way ahead of his time and I truly owe it all to him.
That was the moment the idea for Mud Media was born.
Since then, I’ve been blown away by the response Mud Media has received. I’ve been lucky enough to work with so many inspiring people and brands, and it brings me so much joy to share the stories of the agriculture industry through my work.
Mud Media is all about supporting and showcasing the people and businesses that keep rural Australia running, through professional, high-quality photography, videography and drone work.
